Matt Doran has been asked by the Greys committee to organise a club football tour this year - yes one that actually involves football.  To get us started we will be taking a trip to Leeds on the weekend of August 15th - 17th. Once we have this initial tour underway, he will then start organising tours abroad for future years.
 
The committee's aim is to have a tour that is open to everyone at the club - but it must contain football.
 
So far, we know this about our Leeds tour:
 
We will travel up on Friday 15th returning on Sunday 17th by coach together, staying in a hotel.
We have 2 games, 1 competative, 1 friendly pub style - Therefore everyone of all abilities will get a game.
There will be a friday afternoon activity and the games will be on saturday
Overall cost of the trip will be £150 + spending

Works to the new ground have started, with the temporary site fencing being erected and the site being cleared. The drainage system will be installed and then works to the pitches and clubhouse should follow on from there. We have a couple of final points to confirm with the contractors and once that is done, a programme of works and a completion date should be available - watch this space!
