1st and Reserve players... please email your availability for the following friendly games (or ring Cogo on 07810335452 if you are twenty-first century challenged) so Cogo and Gilly can see which players are available to play.
- Tuesday 17th ....Wick (away) .... meet 6.00(tbc) at their ground......... 1st and Res
- Thursday 19th .....Torpedo ....meet 5.45 at the BAWA .....1st and Res
- Thursday 26th ......S B C ......meet 5.45 at the BAWA .....Res (to be confirm)
- Wednesday 25th....Wick (away).... meet 6.00 at their ground ........1st
Pre-Season Training
It seems so soon since the last season but Greyfriars AFC pre-season training will be starting soon. Details are:
- First session on Tuesday 13th July (next Tuesday) at 6.45pm
- Location: Patchway high school
Pre-season training will be taken by our very own Reserve team manager, Bazza. He is already a qualified coach working towards his Uefa B assessments/qualifications and will be running training sessions throughout pre-season. Bazza will be ably assisted by Paul Bold and Ricky Woodland who both also have coaching qualifications.
Each training session will consist of some activities to help technique and tactics followed some fitness training and some footy.
Further information on training dates will follow. Please ensure you make every effort to make it there and for 6:45pm to ensure we all get the benefits for the forthcoming season.
